I, Jin(Shijin) Ma, am a nationally certified acupuncturist & Chinese herbalist licensed in Colorado. I am also a registered nurse. This unique combination means that I have the best views of both eastern and western medicine. I was born and grew up in Shanghai, a diverse city in China. I worked at Shanghai NO.6 People’s Hospital(an eastern and western medicine combined hospital) for almost 10 years as a registered nurse prior to coming to the USA in March 1991. I started my private practice in Chinese medicine in 2001, after I got my Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. I worked at Longmont United Hospital as a registered nurse for another decade. I have realized the power of Chinese medicine and have seen the benefits of it for many years. I also have a beautiful and happy family. My husband is a software engineer and our only lovely son is currently attending college.
